The Northern Neck Technical Center Governor's STEM Academy for Agriculture and Maritime Studies serves the high schools from the counties of Essex, Lancaster, Northumberland, Rappahannock, Westmoreland and the public schools of the Town of Colonial Beach.

NNTC was built to serve the career and technical education needs of the participating school systems. NNTC Headlines 

Week of June 19th-June 25th

Nurse Aide students from Northern Neck Technical Center showcased their skills and talents at the prestigious International Leadership Conference for HOSA in Dallas, Texas. Accompanied by instructors Brian Sydnor and Kim Moore, Macie Vaughn (Rappahannock High School), Hannah Jett (Northumberland High School), and Katelynn Lee (Westmoreland High School) represented their institution and competed with remarkable success.

Northern Neck Technical Center's Engineering, Game Design, and Auto Body students made their mark at the SkillsUSA National Event held in Atlanta, Georgia.  Under the guidance of advisors Dr. Samantha Dixon, Matt Ingram, Scott Syster, and Jason Smith, a talented group consisting of Brayden Cobb (Westmoreland High School), Darrien Fauntleroy (Westmoreland High School), Taylor Gill (Colonial Beach High School), Eric Davis (Essex High School), Romeo Ramos (Westmoreland High School), Kyron Newman (Essex High School), and Jacob Henry (Essex High School) participated in a range of competitions. In addition to showcasing their skills, the students had an enriching experience exploring vendors, engaging in friendly competition, and networking with fellow SkillsUSA members from across the country.
