Masonry is a two-year course where the student will learn to use, maintain, and safely handle the tools, machines, equipment, and materials commonly used in masonry trades. The course offers extensive trowel skills, principles of masonry, brick veneering, corner construction, straight wall work, footing, and building fireplaces, chimneys, and other brick and block work.
This course also deals with some concrete and paving skills. Students may return for a third-year through special arrangements.
