The Culinary Arts course is designed to prepare students for entering employment in food service occupations. The training program is particularly valuable because a major portion of the student's skill is acquired through actual cooking, study in the use and care of equipment, food standards and proper sanitation procedures,including public health aspects of food handling. It is a two-year program. Students may take a third year with emphasis on catering.
